Dear Friends and Colleagues: The 2nd annual Gala Latina was an astounding success! This event came to fruition on March 29th, 2008. Sponsors were treated to a picturesque, pre-Gala patron party aboard two yachts dockside at the Hyatt Hotel in Sarasota. Gala Latina showcased a splendid offering of Latin music, dance, art and cuisine. Two $4,000 scholarships ($1,000 per year for four years) were awarded subsequently to deserving Hispanic youths in our community. Please join us in supporting higher education for local Hispanic youth by participating in the 3rd annual Gala Latina event, scheduled for March 28th, 2009.
